We care about your self-care.

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling uses a thin, filiform needle to decrease pain, inflammation, and improve blood flow and function of muscles and joints. While the same needle is used as with acupuncture, dry needling is different in that it is based on modern Western medicine principles and evidence-based research of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems.

At Sisu Boston in Brookline, we offer expert manual therapy and dry needling to help reduce pain, release muscle tension, and restore movement.

These techniques are ideal for athletes and active adults dealing with tightness, nagging injuries, or limited mobility.

Our Brookline Village clinic serves clients from Coolidge Corner, Chestnut Hill, and surrounding neighborhoods who are looking for personalized, effective relief — not just a quick fix. We combine dry needling and hands-on work with movement-based rehab so you can stay active and feel better long-term.
